CWA DISTRICT 1 NY/NE
CWA District 1, IBEW Local 2213 and IBEW New England Regional Bargaining Committees resumed negotiations with Verizon today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY.
The Company provided data that the Unionrequested on Healthcare and Pensions. The Regional Bargaining Committee spent much of the day reviewing the data.
Your Union teams presented proposals covering numerous issues and also asked questions regarding the data we received.
The Company will be giving another presentation on healthcare tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
Preparations are being made for Strike Authorization Votes to be held in all locals.
Members should plan on attending the July 25th rally at Verizon Headquarters at 140 West St in NY City Every member from every Local should be at this Rally to send a message to Verizon. The Rally will begin at 11 a.m.
