Regional Bargaining Report # 7

CWA DISTRICT 1 NY/NE

CWA District 1 and IBEW Regional Bargaining Committees met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye, NY.

In the morning and afternoon we were given a presentation on the utilization of the Medical and Prescription plans.

This evening we exchanged additional proposals with the Company.

Regional Bargaining will resume tomorrow morning.

We need every member to make plans to attend the Saturday, July 25^th, 2015 rally at Verizon Headquarters at 140 West Street  in NY City. The Rally will begin at 11 AM. 

Local 1111 will get a bus that will be paid for by the national if  we have enough interest to fill 2/3 of a 56 person bus. It will leave the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City @ 6:30 a.m. and return by 9 p.m.. Please let your steward or officer know if you plan to attend the rally. Your actions will make a difference in our contract fight.
